Hello there, I'm working on a game in Unity in C#, and my understanding of coding is pretty minimal. I picked up two script bundles that cover the majority of what I need for my game, but the two don't naturally work together. One of them is every basic RPG system from inventory to levels to status points and whatnot. The other is a more advanced AI program for NPCs/monsters with some rudimentary combat systems and UI.
I reached out to a different scripter already, and he got a version of the bundles done to where they could run together, but due to language barriers I couldn't get him to understand the full scope of the project, and sometimes knowing when to pay for what's done and quit while you're somewhat ahead is a virtue.
The TDLR is:
1) I'd like to be able have a monster controlled by the AI bundle (presumably done)
2) I'd like for the monster and player to be able to use the RPG bundle's status system like ATK, DEF, etc. (Partially started)
3) The AI program has a function that lets me set up attacks, I'd like an option to choose whether an attack does physical or magical damage because both DEF and MDEF are stats with the RPG kit but at this time there's no way to set it with with AI program since it doesn't have a fleshed out combat system
1) Getting this to work with the AI system's UI, since it's prettier and better suits my needs
2) The AI system allows for setting a range of random damage, something that the RPG system surprisingly doesn't seem to. Being able to have slightly randomized numbers would be nice.
If this sounds like a thing you're willing to look into, I can send a unity project with the unedited script systems set up and some models to play with, as well as a separate file for the edited work already done by the other scripter, in case one is easier for you to work with than the other, or give you a better idea of how to start.
