Hi, I have excellent experience with 3D Geometry and have been using Autodesk Maya and 3ds Max in film production. Hello, my name is Asher Patience. I am a 34 year old Software Developer / Spatial Data Consultant from Melbourne, Australia. Throughout my career I've worked side-by-side with spatial and engineering professionals from a wide array of fields, as well as working as a Land Surveyor for over 7 years. My workplace experiences include Structural Engineering, Land Surveying, GIS, Remote Sensing, Architecture etc. This has given me a unique skillset where I am equal parts programmer and spatial professional. My most recent full-time role was a 2 year employment as the Lead Software Developer for the largest Surveying / Engineering company in Australia, Veris PTY LTD. In that role I was embedded with the Mobile Laser Scanning and Reverse Engineering departments, developing software to solve all sorts of geometric problems relating to CAD + point cloud data. I love working on these kinds of challenges. On top of that I also have a part-time career as a Game Developer. I've been using the Unity3D engine since it came out of beta and I definitely consider myself one of the more seasoned Unity developers out there. I've also used Unity extensively in my day job as a tool for visualizing and manipulating spatial data, and I wrote the first Unity specific LAS reader/writer.
