We are a group of developer and academics on environmental science.
We are developing a proprietary system for earth visualization in unity.
Our needs start by developing a stand a lone windows application in Unity that dos the following:
- The windows 7 computer is loaded with i7, 32Gb RAM and two 2Gb video cards, each with three ports (cdmi, dvi & mini port), that connect to 5 diferent monitor displays.
- The center of our unity application manipulates a 3D object, that is observed by 5 cameras. Each camera sends the image of the object from its perspective to an external monitor display.
- The multi monitor displays show the same object as seen from each camera perspective.
What we need:
- We need to fix each camera output to each display with the same resolution, and get rid of the unity frames so we only have the 3D image model over a flat color background.
- We need a GUI that:
a) manipulates each camera properties with precision (distance from object, angles in every axis, lens wide, etc) so we can align each perspective of the model in a multi display set-up.
b) We also need a GUI to manipulate and configure the 3D object from the desktop computer screen or from an external mobile device.
This are in general the basic expertise needs as we already have the most of the development running ok.
We would requiere that the software is developed in commented modular code that we will fully own and that can be easily enhanced or modified by us in later stages of the project.
