Your acceptance criteria contain a tension worth naming before anyone draws a screen. You want every critical action confirmable, and you want an always-visible emergency panel. Those pull against each other. A confirm step on RTL or Land costs seconds exactly when seconds matter. The resolution is asymmetric: arm and take-off get a deliberate two-step gesture, because an accident there is catastrophic. RTL and Land stay single-action, because they are the safe direction and hesitation is the real risk. Emergency controls hold fixed positions that never reflow, whatever else the operator rearranges. Second: design at 1366x768 first, not 1920. That is where modular widgets collide, and a layout surviving 1366 scales up cleanly. The reverse never does. Third, on bright field conditions: contrast has to come from luminance, not hue, and GPS lock and battery state cannot be signalled by red against green alone. In sunlight, and for a colour-blind pilot, those read the same.
