I need to build a mechanism inside of twilio that will enqueue a large amount of calls and transfer them to my PBX(3CX) once the perviously enqueued call is ended. Some on hold music and a looping voice recording would be great. There are 3-4 inbound numbers that will feed this, and 3-4 agents that will handle calls. So a user calls in to a number, hits the Twilio IVR, and sits on hold until an agent is no longer on a call. Then the call is transfered to 3cx.

it seems , you get confused or some one make you confused. the solution is already inside the 3cx, if you need number, you can simply use twilio number and SIP or redirect/forward can be ok.

Hello, I have a few questions regarding to your project: - when a call in queue, it plays on-hold music till a call pick-up or ended? Before ended (never pick-up) it should be transferred to your 3CX number, right? The call expiration will follow Twilio time-out or you could pre-define the duration? - No need the notification (IVR speech) while transferred automatically? - your 3CX will have the same mechanism while there is no agent pick-up? Or it will be just ended while timeout - are you OK in using Twilio Studio for developing this IVR Flow? - what IVR Flow should be setup on 3CX part?
