I am looking for a NATIVE RUSSIAN speaker to record approximately ~4,000 sentences (might be less). The sentences are all short and simple. You can probably finish this task quickly, within 1-2 days.
You MUST have a very clear pronunciation as the recordings will be used to study the Russian language.
Please send me an .mp3 audio file with your voice and a few sentences in Russian so that I can hear your pronunciation and quality of the recording.
The audio you will make must be HIGH QUALITY recordings so that we do not have different volume levels for the various audio recordings (should not be louder or lower from audio to audio), or have background noise, etc.
You must be honest and reliable in completing the task on time and accurately.
I will give you the list of sentences and you have 2 options to record and organize them.
(Option 1: I will give you an Anki deck that contains the sentences. To save time, you can record the audio directly into Anki (there's a "record" option available for each card; you just click into the "front card" at the end of the sentence and click record) [url removed, login to view] (free software: here are direct download links [url removed, login to view], if you are on a pc or [url removed, login to view] if you are on a mac). If you're not sure if this software is safe to install - don't worry, it's one of the top free flashcard programs in the market - there's even a Wikipedia entry here: [url removed, login to view])
(Option 2: I will give you the sentences in an excel file and you record separate audio files for each sentence with an audio recording software of your choice. However, you will need to "link" these .mp3s back to Anki so we can attach the correct audio to the correct sentence. The linking can be done by dragging-and-dropping the corresponding audio file to the correct sentence card.)
My recommendation is to do option 1 because it is much, much faster and there's no additional work (i.e. linking) needed once recorded.
