We have 2 clips of approx 20min each. Both are interviews conducted in Japanese. For editing purposes, we need to have detailed, timecoded translations of each clip into English subtitles. Ideally, we are looking for freelancers who already have experience with translating documentary footage and are familiar with transcribing software (e.g. Inqscribe).
Since we will be doing the video editing based on these subtitles, it's important to note that the English doesn't always have to be grammatically correct. Instead, it should follow the Japanese sentence structure to a certain extent, so the editor can follow the word flow.
