(please be honest about your experience, we will be able to tell after speaking with you the first time, so do not waste you time or ours ;-)

This position is for an all around office person who is able to wear many hats at once, because during the course of a day you may end up being;

Personal assistant, administrator, project manager, customer support person and affiliate manager all in one. If you are not one who deals with having multiple responsibilities on an ever changing basis this may not be for you.

I own an up and coming, online information publishing company that sells a variety of products and services to customers across the globe.

I'm looking for two new enthusiastic and friendly individuals to help me grow my business.

The Creative Control team is up to nine people now across three different continents. We run a lot of launches, create a lot of products and services and pride ourselves on actually caring about our customers, unlike a lot of the industry.

You responsibilities will include helping me to grow my business and include but not limited to;

Handling front line customer support for my range of products and my affiliates but on a daily basis you WILL also be asked to help out with other things including but not limited to;

Creating systems

In and outbound phone orders and customer upselling

In and outbound customer support phone calls

Answering of customer support emails

Replying to customer support tickets submitted to our online support desk

Overseeing and playing "Project Manager" to some of our "virtual" employees, or in other words people who work overseas or in other parts of the country for us.

A bit of personal assistant work such as setting appointments, making calls for me etc.

Light office work such as filing paper work, computer work and data entry.

Misc Administrative task

Coming up with ways to help promote and sell our products

Invoicing orders

Light manufacturing of our products

Maintenance of our website

Creating and/or maintaining relationships with our vendors

Giving out new task and projects

Reviewing work that our team of VAs are working on and provide suggestions and input in order to get the best result.

As well as a variety of other task ranging from making phone calls to making post office runs to hiring to firing ;)

Enough about us, let's talk about you.

You are team person. Most of our staff are virtual and located in other countries such as India and/or the Philippines.

You're a great communicator. Our customer support system is both phone and email based (we use Kayako to run our support desk) and internally we use Skype to keep in touch -- that means lots of reading and writing.

You speak good English. Our software and support is all done in English. Some of our customers don't have perfect English, so yours needs to be that much better to compensate.

You can commit to 10--30 hours per week. Our work load varies. We'll guarantee you 10 hours per week in the quiet times, but you should be available for up to 30 hours per week in the busy times.

You can work most weekdays. Our business runs every day, customers email us every day. We try to respond to everyone within 24 hours even if it's just to tell them we're working on their problem. If you can only come into the office two days a week, you won't be able to help us.

You're reliable. When you have a sick day or a vacation, you let us know that you won't be around. What you're not going to do is vanish for two weeks without telling us and then expect everything to be fine. You're smart enough to know we're not going to appreciate that.

You're calm and collected. Most of our customers are lovely, but even lovely people can get frustrated when stuff doesn't work. They all need to be treated with respect, no matter how rude they can be.

You're familiar with WordPress, MicroSoft Word, Power -- Point and a few other of the more basic programs. Honestly, this one isn't essential, but it would definitely set you ahead.

We have a small office located in the office section of Highway 70 in Garner that you will primarily work in alone and will never have to deal with customers face to face as 99.9% of our sales come in from customers who order our products online from our websites.

The area is great and surrounded by the offices of other professionals.

You must be;


Able to work alone

Reliable (as in not someone who calls in every month... We've been there)

A fast learner as we work with a huge variety of computer programs as well as introduce a nice variety of new products which you'll be required to learn in order to effectively communicate it's usefulness to the customer

Skills & Experiences Needed:

Must have excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Must be a hands-on/ team-player with an attitude toward tackling tactical and strategic work.

Must have the ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint Word.

Since we are on online marketing company, if you have any experience with any of the following please let us know up front;

Website Building / Maintenance (httml / css / etc.)

PPC Marketing

Article Marketing

Search Engine Optimization

Copy writing (direct marketing or IM style.. Not Madison ave style ;)




Internet marketing in general (please state in what form and your experience / knowledge level)

P.P.S. Again you must be *Extremely* Internet savvy, so explain what online experience you may have (i.e. PPC management, Article marketing, SEO, Social Media, Web 2.0 etc)
