Who we are:
We are an agency/Chambers of commerce that provides support and empowerment to African and Caribbean-led businesses in the South West and have recently launched a new branch in London.
What we do:
We works closely with developmental agencies such as UKTI and SFEDI, and provides members with networking opportunities; business advice, training and mentoring programmes and skills workshops to enable members build the contacts and expertise needed to succeed in business. Our members are currently from a wide range of sectors including: law; retail; accountancy; manufacturing; entertainment; marketing; ICT; journalism; public relations and design.
What we want: We are looking at growing our database of paying members (like any other chambers of commerce) and are currently looking for a sales organisation or individuals who can build this up for us on a commission only basis.
We are launching our service in early June 2011 at a networking and membership awareness event in central London and require our membership to be driven formally and informally.
We wish to appoint a small agency or team of freelancers to:-
• Develop a sales strategy for acquiring new members
• Consult us on appropriate sales and marketing tools
• Produce a target list for our database of members
• Provide us a database full of at least 1000 prospects in 6 months
