There are two parts to this project and you can bid on one or both.
Part 1) Qualified Lead Generation - U.S. Magazine Publishing Industry - Person responsible for digital or iPad publishing decisions who can discuss the magazines need for an iPad app
Information to be included for each lead:
a) Person's Full Name
b) Ideally person's direct extension or telephone number (must be in U.S.)
c) Company Name
d) Company main telephone # (must be in U.S.)
e) Rough estimate of the number of magazines the individual/company is responsible for publishing
f) Name of one of their top-selling magazines
g) Circulation figures for the magazine
Information should be delivered in a tab separated file with column headings.
To be considered a qualified lead, the total circulation of the top 3 magazines published by the lead must total more than 10,000. If between 2000 and 10,000 circulation, then the lead will be considered "half-qualified" and count as half of a lead.
Part 2) Schedule an introductory 10-15 minute telephone call between a Salesperson and a Qualified Lead
Starting with the list of qualified leads generated in Part 1 (either by you or someone else):
a) Cold-call each lead and verify that the lead is actually qualified (e.g. verify circulation numbers)
b) Determine if lead is interested in discussing the publishing of their magazine(s) on the iPad
b) Schedule a 10-15 minute sales call to occur within the following two weeks
c) Get the email address of the lead and direct phone # if you don't already have it
d) Email the qualified lead and the salesperson on the day of the phone call to confirm the time of the call
e) Reschedule any sales calls that do not occur for one reason or another
The spreadsheet of information provided to you for Part 2 should be updated with notes from each call to the lead. Especially make notes if the lead is verified to be qualified or unqualified and if the lead is interested in discussing magazine publishing. Also make note of email address and confirm direct phone number. Any other pertinent information to the salesperson should also be captured.
Deliver a tab separated file containing all of the qualified leads and the extra notes generated during Part 2.
In the PM for your bid, please specify:
1) The amount of your bid for Part 1 (if applicable) and the minimum number of qualified leads you will generate for this bid amount. Also specify a range for the number of days it will take you to deliver Part 1.
2) The amount of your bid for Part 2 (if applicable) and the minimum number of completed sales calls you will provide for this bid amount. Also specify a range for the number of days it will take you to deliver Part 2.
Please state any association you have with the magazine publishing industry in your bid. Please also state your experience and qualifications for these tasks.
