would like to create a website that archive documents, . A document management system (DMS) is a system used to receive, track, manage store and archive documents and reduce paper. Most are capable of keeping a record of the various versions created and modified by different users (history tracking)
it is more like an electronic archiving system, in which we should be able to store a copy of the original document, recall it, print it, tag it, for example:
i have to stores, A and B, invoices are issued from both locations, invoices at location A are issued by X, while from B are issued by Y. i have two invoices issued, INV/01 from store A by X, and INV/02 issued from store B by Y. after customer sign the invoice, it will be scanned, uploaded to the archive, with all the main info entered manually,: document type, document no, creator, date of document, ect... we should be able to add tags, have different users , data entry rights and admin rights, we should be able to export tables and back up database nd restore it. mysql db, preferred
