I often prepare lessons, so this is a good opportunity for me to gain experience as well:) I suggest 4-5 blocks within the 22 lessons (10-12 mi each one), focused on improve their confidence, communicative skills, fluency, vocabulary, spontaneity, intelligibility. The blocks are progressive and adapt to the needs and interests of the students! It seems to be an online course, so I recommend using audiovisual support for each class topic but limiting the amount of written text. Feedback is continuous & gramatical correction is delayed. the goal is that students express themselves regardless of making mistakes *the point is not to achieve perfection, but mutual understanding Here's a short sample of a lesson: - Warm up (2') a short question, statement, aud/vid about the topic & content. Example Topic: Small talk. Content: Reacting to others; play an audio with "Really?" / "Wow, that's awesome!" / "Oh, I see" Students notice reactions, ask for interpretations - - Show/explain key words or phrases related to the T & C (2-3) Example: "Really?"= Surprise.
