I’m expanding our talent-acquisition function and need help identifying a strong mid-level Technical Recruiter—someone whose career to date has been rooted in hands-on technical recruiting rather than generalist HR work. Your assignment is to take ownership of the full search cycle: market mapping, proactive outreach, screening, and presenting a concise slate of qualified candidates who can start closing technical roles quickly. The person you find must already be comfortable filling developer, data, or DevOps roles, but for this search the target position itself is “Technical Recruiter.” I’m less concerned about prior exposure to finance, healthcare, or e-commerce; what matters is demonstrable success recruiting for technical teams, solid stakeholder management skills, and the ability to talk credibly with engineers. Here’s what I’ll look for to accept the work: • An initial brief summarising your sourcing strategy and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.) • A shortlist of at least five mid-level Technical Recruiter candidates, each with a résumé, compensation expectations, and your screening notes. • A final debrief highlighting pipeline metrics and any market insights you uncovered.
