I am providing system admin services for a company and have come across a situation of having to set up new extensions at the switchboard for a new user coming soon.
I have no contact with the old admin who was here, and here there is no one who knows how to move the central.
I have installed the Alcatel Lucent Enterprise / OXO Connect Management Console OMC application where in the "subscribers" option I can see the extensions that are created and the names of the users to which they are assigned.
In the case of this user, his workstation has two free network points, 41 and 45.
When you turn on an rj-11 at 41 the phone shows no signal and at 45 the message "v 3.5" appears on the phone display.
Since my experience in switchboards is nil, I would like to know if there is or know anyone who can give me an indication of the steps I need to take to configure that user's extension.
