On one of my servers the webmail has been acting screwy and I need someone to help me fix it. I have both SquirrelMail and NutsMail (a SquirrelMail variant), both which are getting the following errors:
+ Upon sending a message: "Connection to [url removed, login to view] has terminated unexpectedly. Some data may have been transferred." Despite this error the message actually gets sent.
+ Large attachments fail -- Anything larger than perhaps 500 kB fails. Small attachments are sent just fine.
In addition, NutsMail is also getting these errors:
+ Can't view most messages. (The ones I can read all seem to be in HTML format.) Yet when I forward these messages to another account, I can view them just fine.
+ In the compose tool, line breaks aren't being handled correctly.
In the compose tool, HTML tags are displayed in the body of a supposedly HTML-formatted message.
Note: These are all problems that have started occuring recently and we haven't identified any changes made to the server in the meantime that could have caused this.
Hi Being a system administrator in a Unix/Windows environment, I can help you to fix the problem. Regards, Daniel
