Help with creating a counter for core data objects as well as fixing the tableview to show the users selection in cell

Been stuck with this part of my project for over a week now with no help on any forums or websites dealing with this stuff. So far I have a counter which counts up to 2 objects in a given row. I am looking to make a counter that will collect the sum total of all the objects up to 30 total. I am also looking for help fixing my tableview presenting this to the users. Right now it displays the changes for a given row with the selection up to 2 but then the rows reloaded into below at the same rows also show these changes even when they are not selected. I have followed advice from multiple people but no one can quite get it right. I just want the row selected to show the change then when the user scrolls down and back to still have that cell indicating the change. I have 600+ objects total so not using the dequeue method doesn't seem appropriate for this project either.
