Mall New Build Foundations

I’m moving ahead with a ground-up shopping mall and I need a specialist who can take full ownership of the foundations and primary structural package. The shell is entirely new construction, so there’s no demolition or renovation work to contend with—just a clean site and a fresh set of engineering challenges. You’ll begin with the geotech report and my preliminary architectural plans, translate them into stamped structural drawings, and then oversee or advise on all footing, piling, slab-on-grade, and super-structure works through to topping-out. Coordination with the wider design team is essential because the electrical, plumbing, and interior finishing trades will follow only after the core frame is signed off. Key deliverables I expect: • Finalised structural calculations and drawings ready for permitting • Material take-offs and a concise schedule of concrete and steel grades • Method statements and a phased construction timeline that dovetails with other trades • Weekly progress summaries highlighting any risk or variance to plan Completion is accepted once local code compliance is confirmed, as-built documents are submitted, and the structure passes its final inspection.
