1. Create a view GRANTS INFO (Instructorld, Instr Type, AccountNo, FName, LName, Grant Title, Source, CurrBalance) that retrieves the info about each Grant and the instructors associated with it. The view should
have the attributes renamed as: (lld, IType, ANo, FN, LN, GTitle, Source, and CBal) and be ordered by Grant title in the descending order.
2. Can you use the following query to calculate the sum of the current balance left in each of the Grants from the view GRANTS INFO?
SELECT SUM(CBal)
FROM grants_info
if No, then why not? If No, then give another query that can help you get the correct amount. If yes, then explain
how?
3. Write an SQL query that uses the view GRANTS_INFO to find the number of Instructors associated with each
GrantTitle.
4. Write the corresponding Relational Algebra expression.
