We are looking for somebody able to correct an error in our Access database code. This is a kind of perpetual calendar, generating calendars where the movable events have to fall on the right date for any year.
But... a few events don't fall on the correct date, which is calculated with a formula: "1st Tuesday of the 4th month" etc. It looks like the problem happens when the 1st day of the month falls on the same weekday as the event.
There are probably a couple of characters missing in the program.
If you speak French a little bit, it may help, because the main form is in French. But if not, we think that's OK anyway.
The file is available now ! See below.
The challenge goes like this: how could we correct the code in order to make the events called "TEST" appear under the correct date in the 2011 calendar. (ex.: 2nd Sunday of May is not the 3rd.)
To generate the calendar, you have to click the "gérérer le calendrier" button, at your right on the "Evenements" form. Type 2011 in the blank.
You'll have to add events and perform the same tests to make sure the problem is not only moved elsewhere, as we have experimented before.
