Splunk JSON parsing

I am have configured JSON files load from Azure blob storage using the Azure add-on. Each JSON file has multiple records. When loaded, I can see JSON files but they appear not parsed. This project is to help me re-configure Splunk to be able to parse them. I am ready to start this project now. In your bid please write how you would approach this (at least on high level) as I want to ensure you can do the task
