Automotive Sourcing Manager (Asia-Based | Freelance / Remote) We are currently seeking an Automotive Sourcing Manager based in Asia to support our strategic procurement initiatives within the automotive sector. This is a freelance, home-based position, offering flexibility while requiring a high level of professional accountability and independence. The role requires a willingness to travel internationally for supplier meetings, on-site audits, technical discussions, and business meetings. In this position, you will take full ownership of supplier identification and development across Asia, ensuring alignment with European automotive standards and long-term sourcing strategies. You will conduct detailed market analysis, evaluate supplier capabilities, benchmark cost structures, and lead commercial negotiations to achieve competitive and sustainable agreements. We are looking for a professional who demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems independently. You must be capable of making structured decisions, managing complex problems, and proactively identifying risks. Previous experience working with European companies is advantageous. The candidate must understand European compliance standards, quality expectations, and cross-cultural working styles. The ability to adapt communication approaches across different cultures is a key success factor in this role. Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is mandatory.
