Text and File Conversion

The Dragon Data Transfer Preparator preprocesses office data for further use. It converts office documents to one large txt file. The conversion process has some separate steps: • Sort by Extension – Copies files from a folder structure to a new folder with subfolders named by their extension. • Text Conversion – We already have converter software. They can be used by command line & parameters. The goal ist o execute the command line inside this tool. • Concat – Concat all txt files to one big file • Scramble – Sorts the lines of large txt files alphabetically. We already have a working C# tool, that hast to be modified. • The application has to be very stable. It has to be insensitive agains I/O Errors. • We need a Log-File. • We need a load/save procedure for the settings. • We need a progress bar and a visual display for the active conversion step. Programming Language is C#. Time for completition: Sunday evening CET. You have to start immediately. We have a test machine for the text converters and will help you testing. This project is calculated with three working days. UI should look nice. If you are not sure how, we give you sample screenshots. Best regards Frank
