Adjust a python script (that has no database interaction currently) to enter returned data from a search into a postgresql table. The data should only enter if a record doesn’t exist for the same data. It should be object oriented in the python file (use an optimized function for lookup and insert and should not have any race condition issues if run simultaneously in multiple spots). If it enters a new record, it should return the id for the new entry.

Hi. I'm a programmer from Russia with strong skills in Python. I suggest to use ORM to enter data from search. SQLAlchemy is a good tool for such a purpose. It provides thread-safe tools and helps to convert data from relational model to object-oriented.
