Project: Website URL Screen shot in JPG and convert to PDF
Payment is $85 fixed via Freelancer. Fees taken out for Freelancer are not my responsibility.
(Better to see the attached project description file than read this!!)
1. This project takes screen shot of Browser for URL and places in *.JPG files then converts to PDF for printing
2. Programmer must use C#.NET or VB.NET to create application
3. Must follow project guidelines
4. Payment for this project is $85 USD
5. Demonstration must be shown via Teamviewer, Video, Demo App, etc before Project is Awarded and Payment Sent
6. Source code not required, just working application delivered
The application starts when a user inputs a Google+ URL into the Google+ URL Textbox and Clicks Start
The application should have three textboxes and a command button
The user will input a Google + URL and Click Start to use the program
The Folder of Input *.JPGs is to select a folder that contains 3 *.JPG files ([url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view])
When the start button is pressed, the Google+ Local URL that the user enters will be loaded in the application
Next, we will extract from the Google+ Local page two pieces of information.....
1) The Business Name
2) The City and State
You will save these 2 pieces of information as Strings
For example, here is a Google+ Local Page..... ([url removed, login to view])
This can be done using a substring method or just by writing a regular expression.
The Business name is “Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club”
The City and State is “Chicago, IL”
After saving these two pieces of Information.... We will create a new folder on the user’s hard drive from the Business Name
And we will use the Output Main Folder to create a subfolder with the Business Name inside of it..... For example
If the Output Main Folder is C:\pdfoutput\ and the Business Name is “Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club”...
The folder you will create is C:\pdfoutput\Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club\
Next we will create a [url removed, login to view] Search URL from the Name of the Business and the City, State
The format is:
[url removed, login to view]
Now we have two different URLs. The user input Google+ Local Page URL, and the [url removed, login to view] Search URL
We will take two screen shots of both URLs.
After the two screen shots are taken.. They will be cropped, scaled, and placed in two of the input JPGs.
The first screen shot of the user inputted Google+ URL will be placed in the [url removed, login to view] picture and saved.
The second screen shot of the [url removed, login to view] Search page URL will be placed in the [url removed, login to view] picture and saved.
(Resolution should be kept 96DPI or greater and screen shots should not be scaled larger to keep the quality.)
Finally, we will take 3 images and combine them to create a *.pdf file in the output folder.
The first image and first page of the PDF file is the [url removed, login to view] file in the user input folder (this file is not changed).
The second image file combines the [url removed, login to view] image with the screen shot of the Google+ local page.
And the 3rd page of the PDF is the [url removed, login to view] image combined with the screen shot of the [url removed, login to view] Search page.
In conclusion, all files created by the application except for the final [url removed, login to view] file should be deleted.
