Gossip Protocol. I am seeking an experienced and specialized developer to create a robust gossip server in a distributed system. To Implement a fully distributed gossip algorithm for calculating or discovering (a) the average value in the network, (b) the size of the network, (c) the maximum and minimum values in the network and then some other gossip functions. Use UDP and serialized Java Objects exclusively for network communications. Nodes may only gossip with immediate neighbors (by node number). Skills and Specifications: - Proficiency in server-client and distributed systems - Strong understanding of system architecture - Proficient in Java Responsibilities: - Develop a distributed system with a primary function for a gossip protocol - Implement system scalability capabilities and task distribution - Regular updates on progress and potential adjustments.

Hello, I have 10 years of experience in building enterprise software. As part of this I have worked entirely in client server architecture. As far as your requirement’s goes I have worked on technologies like zookeeper as well as kafka which inherently uses gossip protocol . I have enhanced their existing libraries which implement gossip protocol as well as built customised libraries for the organisation where I have worked which implement Gossip protocol. I can implement a fully distributed gossip algorithm for calculating or discovering (a) the average value in the network (b) the size of the network (c) the maximum and minimum values in the network and then some other gossip functions. Also I will implement UDP and serialized Java Objects exclusively for network communications. Nodes may only gossip with immediate neighbors (by node number).
