Hack Activation Code on Software Disk

I purchased a racing software programme on CD in 2013. I loaded this disk to my PC after being provided an activation code and used it without problem. Early this year my PC crashed and I had to purchase a new laptop. I have re-loaded this software from the disk to my new computer but the programme is once again requesting a verification code (This code consists of four letters). The message "To activate your programme 1) Phone your customer service officer 2) Tell him your activation code is OJAG 3) He will give you a security code 4) Enter the code in the box below **** 5) Click on the OK button. " The company that sold me the software is now closed and out of business so I can not obtain a activation code from them. I don't know if it is possible to hack the CD activation code but would be interested in any programme specialists who may be able to assist.
