I am moving a small team (fewer than ten extensions) from our current cloud-based PBX to 3CX and want the changeover to be seamless. The help I need centres on two areas: • Data transfer – bringing across call records, phonebooks, voicemails and any other assets that 3CX can import. • Configuration and setup – installing the latest stable 3CX version on our chosen host, mapping SIP trunks, creating extensions, setting IVRs, ring groups and basic call-flow logic so that everything works exactly as it does today (or better). If you have ideas for user training, feel free to mention them, but it is not part of the core scope. Acceptance criteria • All existing numbers route correctly through 3CX. • Voicemail, call history and contacts are present and functional. • Test calls confirm audio quality and fail-over rules. • Written hand-off notes outlining the final configuration. Most of this can be done remotely; I’ll supply admin access to the current PBX, the 3CX instance, and our SIP provider once we agree on the plan. If you’ve completed similar migrations, I’d love to hear how you would tackle this and the timeline you expect.

Hi there, Moving a sub‑10 extension team from your current cloud PBX to 3CX – I see you need call records, phonebooks and voicemails transferred, plus the full config (SIP trunks, IVRs, ring groups). I’ve done this exact size migration many times. You’ll get a clean, tested cutover. ✅ What I’ll do: - Export/import call history, contacts and voicemail from your current PBX into 3CX (using CSV or native tools). - Install latest stable 3CX on your chosen host, map SIP trunks, create extensions, IVRs, ring groups and restore your current call flow exactly. - Before switching, I’ll test audio quality, fail‑over rules and verify all numbers route correctly; the final config includes written hand‑off notes. ✅ Skills for this job: ✅ VoIP & SIP trunk configuration (several providers) ✅ Linux server administration for 3CX ✅ Data migration between PBX platforms ✅ cPanel/WHM & server hardening (not needed here but shows depth) ✅ Microsoft® Certified: MCSA | MCSE | MCT ✅ 300+ projects delivered, 280+ five‑star reviews Why me: I’m available 24/7, give fast responses, and won’t stop until your team can make and receive calls without a hiccup. One quick question: what cloud PBX are you moving from, and do you already have a Windows/Linux host ready for 3CX, or should I recommend one? I can deliver this in 1 day for $150 and start immediately – just say the word.

Hello, You’re not just moving phones, you’re protecting continuity, voicemail history, and call flow so the team feels no disruption. I’ve handled similar PBX-to-3CX migrations and can map the transition cleanly: transfer what 3CX supports, configure the latest stable instance on your host, set up SIP trunks, extensions, IVRs, ring groups, and verify failover behavior with test calls. I’ll also document the final setup clearly so your hand-off notes cover routing, voicemail, contacts, and any caveats from the old PBX. I’ve shared an initial estimate based on your description, and once we go over a few technical or functional details, I’ll confirm the exact cost and delivery schedule. Could you share which PBX you’re migrating from, and whether your SIP provider has any trunk registration or codec constraints? Also, do you want voicemails and call logs preserved in 3CX-native format or simply archived for reference? Looking forward to your reply so we can finalize the exact plan. Best regards, Asad

Hello I have gone through your specific requirement for 3CX migration. I would use SBC over direct SIP registration because remote phones stay connected when network changes. I will install the latest 3CX, move your data, map SIP trunks and match the current call flow, at least that is where I would start. But I will verify failover with live test calls before handover. Moved a business client with 8 extensions to a new PBX. Private work. Screenshots and call flow notes I can show. Which PBX are you moving from? Need to clear import format for call history first. Hi. To move your team cleanly to 3CX, I’ll handle the migration in a controlled sequence: audit the current PBX data, export what 3CX can ingest, then build the new system on the host with SIP trunks, extensions, IVRs, ring groups, and call-flow rules aligned to your current setup. I’ll verify routing, voicemail access, contacts, and call history, then run live test calls for audio quality, failover behavior, and number mapping before handoff. I can also include a short admin/user training pass so your team is comfortable from day one. As a Senior Software Engineer, I have mastered 3CX deployment, PBX migration, SIP trunk configuration, and telephony troubleshooting and have strong experience in cloud PBX cutovers, VoIP setup, and remote handovers. I work with a checklist-based rollout, clear rollback points, and final documentation so the transition stays predictable and low-risk. I am sure I can deliver high-quality results within a week for a small team migration. Let’s get in touch and discuss more. Thanks.

Hi, I can help migrate your small team from the current cloud PBX to 3CX with proper data transfer, SIP trunk setup, extensions, IVR, ring groups, voicemail, contacts, and call-flow configuration. The best solution is to first review your existing PBX setup, phone numbers, SIP provider details, extensions, call routing, voicemail rules, phonebooks, and available export options. I’ll then install and configure 3CX on your chosen host, migrate supported data, recreate the current call flow, and run test calls to verify routing, audio quality, voicemail, and failover behavior. I’m comfortable with 3CX, VoIP, SIP trunks, PBX migration, Linux/server setup, extensions, IVR, ring groups, voicemail, call routing, phonebook import, call testing, and technical documentation. Deliverables will include: * 3CX installation and setup * SIP trunk configuration * Extension creation * IVR and ring group setup * Call-flow configuration * Phonebook/contact import * Voicemail setup * Call-history transfer where supported * Inbound/outbound call testing * Audio and failover checks * Final hand-off notes I’ll focus on a smooth migration, minimal disruption, and a clean final setup your team can use confidently from day one. Hello, I’ll export the current PBX data into CSV/SQL dumps and feed them directly into 3CX’s migration wizard, which preserves call logs, voicemails and phonebooks without manual re‑entry. Then I’ll install the latest stable 3CX on your chosen host, configure SIP trunks with primary/backup routing, and script the extension, IVR and ring‑group setup so the dial plan mirrors your existing environment. I’ll also generate a concise hand‑off document covering the final configuration, fail‑over settings and any post‑migration tweaks. Do you have a preferred host OS for the 3CX installation (Windows Server or Linux)? Thanks. Nemanja M.

The choice here is either force everything into 3CX, or do a clean cutover and keep any call history or voicemail that 3CX won't accept as a separate archive. I'd start with the export audit first, because the current PBX provider's formats will decide what can be imported and what needs preserving outside 3CX. My bid is $250 over 3 days as a starting number from the brief, with the PBX export format being the bit that could move it. M1: audit current PBX exports, map extensions, SIP trunks, IVRs, ring groups and routing, $100, 1 day. M2: configure 3CX, import what is supported, run test calls, validate routing and leave concise hand-off notes, $150, 2 days. First milestone is the export and mapping pass, so scope is confirmed before the actual migration work.

Rough figures above are just placeholders, we'll firm them up once we've had a look at your current setup and agreed on a plan. Moving a small team off a cloud PBX is the kind of job where the order of operations really matters, especially getting the SIP trunk mapping right before you cut over live numbers. From your description, the core goal is bringing call history, phonebooks and voicemails across cleanly, then rebuilding your call flow inside 3CX - IVRs, ring groups, failover logic - so your team picks up the phone on day one and nothing feels different. Written hand-off notes at the end so the config isn't locked in someone's head is a nice touch and we'd treat that as a first-class deliverable, not an afterthought. Here's how we'd approach it: - Pre-migration audit: Pull a full export from your current PBX, check what 3CX can import natively (call records, phonebook CSV, voicemail files), and flag anything that needs manual work before we touch anything live. - 3CX install and hardening: Latest stable 3CX on your chosen Linux host, firewall rules set, SIP-aware NAT configured, and the web management interface locked down before we bring a single extension online. - SIP trunk and DID mapping: Connect your SIP provider, verify that every number routes correctly inbound and outbound, and run real test calls to confirm audio quality and fail-over behaviour. - Extensions, IVRs and ring groups: Recreate your existing call-flow logic inside 3CX - matching what you have today, with any tweaks you want while we're in there anyway. - Hand-off documentation: A written config doc covering trunks, extensions, ring groups and IVR rules, so any admin can read it cold and understand the setup. After a short scope chat where you walk us through your current PBX and host choice, we'll send over a proper proposal with milestones and a firm price. Want to jump on a quick call this week to walk through it? Best, 96 Studio
