I need a self-contained application that reads up to 20,000 phone numbers from a plain .txt file (one number per line), logs in to our SIP trunk with the credentials I will supply, and starts calling. The tool must be able to place up to 4 simultaneous calls and negotiate any of these codecs: G729, G711A, or G711U. While it is running the interface should always show: • the most recently dialed number • how many numbers remain in the list A pair of clearly labelled Pause and Resume buttons must stop all active calls instantly and restart them on demand without closing the program. For each attempt the program writes a simple text line to an output file noting the number and whether it was ANSWERED or NOT ANSWERED. Dialing can be sequential or in batches of four, whichever is faster while respecting the 4-call limit. Deliverables • Executable application plus full source code • README with setup instructions and any dependencies • Sample input and output text files to confirm format Acceptance criteria 1. Successfully places up to four concurrent calls through our SIP trunk using the specified codecs. 2. Processes a 20,000-number text file in a single run without crashing or memory leaks. 3. Generates an output text file with accurate status for every number. 4. Pause/Resume buttons work instantly and the on-screen counters update in real time. Language, platform, and SIP libraries (e.g., PJSIP, Asterisk AMI, JAIN SIP) are up to you as long as they meet the above requirements and compile cleanly on a current Windows or Linux desktop environment.

Hi — Elias here from Miami. I see you're looking to build a self-contained SIP auto-dialer utility that processes a large volume of phone numbers. The goal is to ensure smooth, reliable dialing while managing the complexities of handling such significant data. A common issue in projects like this is scalability and reliability. With up to 20,000 numbers, it’s essential to have a robust structure that handles concurrent operations without crashing. Integrating with SIP protocols also poses challenges around permissions and state management, especially for tracking call statuses. My approach would focus on creating a modular architecture. I’d implement efficient data handling and ensure the application is maintainable and easy to expand. This includes managing threading and ensuring that your SIP connections are resilient. I've developed similar tools before, optimizing for performance and user experience. I understand the intricacies involved and can foresee potential pitfalls. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – What specific SIP provider do you plan to use, and are there integration requirements? Q2 – Will there be different user roles involved in managing the dialer? Q3 – How do you envision handling call outcomes and retries? Happy to go through the details and suggest the best technical approach. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello I can build this SIP dialer as a clean, self-contained Windows/Linux application using PJSIP, with 4 concurrent calls, G729/G711A/G711U, and reliable SIP trunk handling. I’ll handle the 20,000-number queue, instant Pause/Resume, real-time counters, and accurate ANSWERED/NOT ANSWERED logging without memory/resource leaks. You’ll get the executable + full source + README + sample files, ready to compile and deploy. I focus on making the call engine robust under long-running workloads—not just getting a basic SIP call working. To start: do you already have SIP trunk registration/server details and test credentials available?

Hi, I understand you need a self-contained SIP auto-dialer that imports up to 20,000 numbers from a TXT file, supports four concurrent calls, and negotiates G729, G711A, and G711U through your SIP trunk. I will build a clear desktop interface showing the latest number and remaining count, with Pause and Resume controls that stop and restart active dialing safely. Each attempt will be recorded as ANSWERED or NOT ANSWERED, while the application manages the four-call limit, long runs, errors, and memory usage carefully. I will provide the executable, full source code, README, dependencies, and sample input/output files for Windows or Linux. The implementation can use Software Architecture with Java or Python, and Mobile App Development experience is not required for this desktop utility. I will first confirm the SIP behavior and call-status events, then test concurrency, codec negotiation, pause/resume, and a full 20,000-number run. Does your SIP trunk provide reliable ANSWERED and NOT ANSWERED events, and should paused calls be terminated immediately or allowed to finish? The final utility will be delivered with clean setup instructions and source that is practical to maintain.

I’ll implement the 20,000-number .txt queue as a streaming reader, so the application remains stable without loading the entire list into memory. A C#/.NET desktop interface with PJSIP will maintain four concurrent calls, register against your supplied SIP trunk, and negotiate G729, G711A, or G711U as configured. Pause will immediately cancel active call legs and halt new dialing; Resume will continue from the next pending number. The UI will update the latest number and remaining count in real time, while each attempt is written as NUMBER — ANSWERED or NOT ANSWERED. You’ll receive the executable, complete source, README, and sample input/output files in 5 days. Should the output file be created fresh for each run or appended when restarting a previous list? Hi, I am a software engineer with over 16 years of experience building reliable communications, networking, and desktop applications. I can develop a self-contained SIP auto-dialer that imports all 20,000 numbers, maintains a strict four-call concurrency limit, displays live progress, and records an accurate ANSWERED or NOT ANSWERED result for every attempt. I would use a proven SIP stack such as PJSIP, with a responsive desktop interface and a queue-based design so large lists run safely without blocking or steadily increasing memory use. Pause will immediately terminate active calls and halt the queue; Resume will continue processing without restarting the application. I will also verify G729, G711A, and G711U negotiation against your trunk and provide the executable, clean source code, README, and sample files. Could you confirm the preferred target platform (Windows or Linux), the ringing timeout, and whether calls should disconnect immediately after an answer is detected? I can also account for retry rules or SIP response details if required. Please contact me to discuss details.

Hi, I'm Denis, a full-stack developer experienced in automation and backend systems with real-time communications and concurrent processing. I understand your need—a reliable SIP dialer handling volume while keeping operators in control. The core challenge is managing concurrent SIP connections cleanly while maintaining a responsive UI and accurate logging. You need something that won't leak memory after thousands of calls, handles codec negotiation properly, and provides instant feedback. I'd use PJSIP as the SIP library—it handles concurrent calls well and supports all three codecs you need. For the application, I'd build in Python with a lightweight desktop UI using PyQt or Tkinter, keeping dependencies minimal for easy compilation on Windows and Linux. The architecture separates the SIP engine from the UI layer so they don't block each other—the dialer runs in a background thread while the interface stays responsive. Implementation starts with SIP account setup and codec preferences, then builds call management logic respecting your 4-call limit while processing numbers sequentially or in batches. The UI tracks current number, remaining count, and call state in real time. Pause and Resume cleanly disconnect active calls and manage queue state without restarting the application. Proper resource cleanup is critical. After thousands of calls, SIP sessions must terminate completely and memory must be released. I'd implement explicit connection teardown and periodic garba

Hi, Your requirement for a self-contained SIP auto-dialer managing up to 4 concurrent calls with codec negotiation and real-time UI updates involves precise call orchestration and state management. The main technical risk is ensuring reliable concurrency control and immediate responsiveness of the Pause/Resume functionality without disrupting active SIP sessions or causing resource leaks. I typically design systems with clear separation between call control logic, concurrency management, and UI state synchronization to maintain responsiveness and stability under load. I’d validate codec negotiation flows and call lifecycle handling early to prevent call failures and ensure accurate logging of call outcomes. This approach supports robust operation for large input files and real-time user interaction. I can begin by outlining the call management architecture and integration points for SIP trunk login and codec handling. Thanks, Clifton

Hello, After reviewing your project requirements, I understand that you need a standalone SIP calling application capable of processing large phone lists, managing concurrent calls, handling codecs, and providing real-time call status monitoring. I have experience with software development, Java, Python, C#, software architecture, and SIP-based application solutions. I can develop a self-contained desktop application with SIP trunk integration, configurable call handling, real-time UI updates, logging, and complete source code/documentation. The key challenge is creating a stable calling engine that can process up to 20,000 numbers while maintaining reliable SIP communication, codec compatibility, and responsive controls. My approach would be to use a proven SIP library such as PJSIP/JAIN SIP, implement controlled concurrency management, efficient queue processing, call state tracking, and safe pause/resume handling. I have a couple of quick questions: • Which SIP trunk provider or server platform will the application connect to? • Do you need this application primarily for Windows, Linux, or both platforms? I would be glad to discuss the architecture, select the most suitable SIP framework, and deliver a reliable desktop application with testing and documentation. Best regards, Carlos.

I've built SIP dialers before with PJSIP in Python, so this is right in my wheelhouse. I'll use Python with PJSIP for the SIP stack, threading for concurrent calls, and Tkinter for the UI. The app will read the .txt file, manage a 4-call pool, log results to a file, and include pause/resume via thread control. For codec negotiation, I'll configure PJSIP to prioritize G729, G711A, G711U. The UI will update in real-time via Tkinter's after() method. I'll validate with a 20K-number test file and ensure no memory leaks by monitoring Python's garbage collection. The README will cover PJSIP dependencies and SIP credential setup. I can start immediately. Thanks, Andrii.
