I am new with Xilinx and Vivado. Need help to speed me up on the tools. What I need • A fresh Vivado project configured for the correct Xilinx part. • A working test-bench added and a behavioral simulation launched, with waveforms visible and no compilation errors. • TCL or GUI steps documented so I can reproduce the flow on my own machine. Acceptance criteria: I open the supplied project folder, click “Run Simulation,” and the test-bench executes without warnings or fatal messages, producing the expected waveform. I’m on Vivado 2025.2 for Windows, but please keep the project portable. A quick screen capture or short write-up showing the process would be perfect. If this initial setup goes smoothly, I’ll likely need further help with synthesis and timing analysis later on. This is more like support work. I will need initial 1-2 hour with you at first, and few several question answers section later.

Hi, I can help you set up the Vivado project from scratch and guide you through the Xilinx/Vivado workflow so you can confidently reproduce it on your own machine. I can provide: - A fresh Vivado project configured for the correct Xilinx FPGA part. - Proper RTL/source file organization and project configuration. - A working self-contained testbench. - Behavioral simulation setup and execution in Vivado. - Waveform configuration so the relevant signals are visible. - Troubleshooting of any compilation, elaboration, or simulation issues. - Clear TCL commands and/or GUI step-by-step instructions to reproduce the complete flow. I’ll make sure the final project is easy to open and use: you should be able to open the supplied project, click Run Simulation, and see the expected waveform without compilation errors or fatal simulation messages. I have hands-on experience with Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado, including RTL design, VHDL/Verilog, testbenches, simulation, waveform debugging, and FPGA development. I’m available to start right away. Please share the target Xilinx part number and any existing RTL/testbench files you have, and I can get started.

Hello! I can help you set up a clean, portable Vivado project and walk you through running behavioral simulations smoothly. The part that tends to get tricky for beginners is maintaining file path portability across different Windows environments without breaking relative IP references or block design wrappers. I resolve this by using clean TCL scripts to build the project dynamically instead of relying on machine-specific absolute paths. One thing I'd like to confirm, are you using custom IP blocks in your design, or strictly standard Verilog or VHDL sources? Recently, I have designed and built a similar FPGA simulation setup in Vivado for a client who needed reproducible testbench execution. I configured the target board constraints, structured clean TCL build scripts, and verified waveform outputs to eliminate hidden compilation warnings. I also created step-by-step documentation so their team could launch simulations independently without environment errors. I can easily do the exact same thing for your workflow and walk you through the process step by step. Best, Ariba
