On reviews, the choice you make in week one is hard to undo, so worth saying up front. Shopify retired its own free reviews app, so reviews now live in a third-party app that owns your review data and charges monthly. Two things follow. First, pick one that lets you export reviews, or you are locked in. Second, and this is the one most stores get wrong: if the app renders its stars inside an iframe or paints them in after load, Google will not show star ratings in your search results. The review schema has to be in the product page markup itself. I wire that up and verify it in Rich Results Test before handover. Scope: theme setup and customisation, product and variant structure, collections and filtering, reviews integrated on product and collection pages with working schema, shipping and tax config for physical goods, and checkout tested end to end.
