Women’s Wear Tailor Needed

Our neighborhood shop is growing fast and I need an experienced tailor who can jump straight into women’s pieces without a learning curve. Day to day you will be handling: • Custom tailoring – turning sketches, patterns, or client fittings into beautifully finished garments. • Alterations – from simple hems to complete fit overhauls. • Repairs – giving damaged favourites a second life. Most orders are for dresses, blouses, skirts, and occasion wear, so proven skill with women’s silhouettes is essential. You should also be fully comfortable working in wool, cotton, and silk; delicate handling, proper pressing, and fabric-specific finishing techniques will be part of every job. All work is carried out in-house on our industrial machines (straight stitch, overlock, coverstitch) with a well-equipped pressing station. Bring your own specialty tools if you prefer, but everything you need is here. Punctual delivery and a sharp eye for detail matter more to me than the number of years in the trade—quality and consistency are what my clients come back for.
