My well-loved couch cover is 100 % cotton and is starting to show its age. Several small tears and a couple of larger holes have appeared, and I’d like them neatly mended so the repairs blend with the existing weave and colour. While you are working on it, I also want the high-stress areas—especially the corners and seat panels—reinforced from the inside so the fabric holds up to daily use. What I need from you: • Invisible or near-invisible stitching that closes every tear or hole without puckering the cotton. • Internal reinforcement (backing fabric, interfacing, or similar) placed where the cover experiences the most tension. • A final press so the cover returns to me ready to slip straight back onto the couch. Thread and any backing fabric should match the off-white cotton as closely as possible and remain machine-washable. If you need the exact shade before starting, let me know and I’ll mail a fabric swatch with the cover. I’ll ship the cover clean and folded; please package it securely for the return trip.
