Senior ServiceNow CMDB Specialist

I have an ongoing ServiceNow environment that needs a seasoned hand to strengthen both CMDB and Discovery. Your 6+ years of platform experience will be put to work designing and refining class models, tuning Discovery schedules, and ensuring data quality so audit and operational teams can trust every CI you bring in. You will step in during the 2 PM – 11 PM IST window, collaborating with my in-house admins yet also owning streams of work independently when required. Strong written and spoken English is essential because we rely on clear hand-offs and frequent design reviews. Deliverables for the first phase • A validated CMDB data model aligned with our infrastructure standards • Fully functional Discovery probes and patterns with credential vault usage documented • Data normalization and reconciliation rules that keep duplicates below 2 % • Knowledge-transfer session and concise runbook so the internal team can maintain what you build Acceptance criteria: all items are deployed in our lower environments, promoted to production through our change process without rollback, and accompanied by unit-test evidence inside ServiceNow ATF or a comparable framework.
