This is perfect for someone who's been planning to go freelance but wants stability, or who is freelance now and wants a stable client to stabilize income and workflow.
We need daily Mon-Fri work a few hours every day. We're growing - sales are consistently doubling every few [login to view URL] can't be back burner to your own projects - the trade off is we'll give you stability, but need constant movement of our own projects.
That's the schedule needed, next here's our crystal-ball wish list:
Must have:
1. good spoken english. You will be calling clients on the phone (or skype etc.) and the #1 need of this position is to get wrap up projects and be really good at making and getting clear about what exactly is holding up a website from getting launched - it's usually small loose ends.
2. good written english. In a perfect world you study copywriting, Dan Kennedy, Joe Sugarman and Robert Cialdini, know how to run multivariate headline testing, but in a less perfect world you've got a solid ability for us to throw any client's website at you, and without knowing anything about their industry you research competing sites on google, get a feel for the terms and language, and rough in a home page, services page, maybe about us page so the client has a starting place to refine and go live.
3. Very basic code skills i.e. HTML and easy CSS - i.e. you can handle little things like changing the color of a hex code, swapping out an image, dropping in an aweber autoresponder into wordpress. We have programmers, but at any given moment they're backed up for months with work. No php required, but if you can do little basics, it helps.
4. General familiarity with wordpress, paypal, aweber autoresponder, google analytics.
5. Ability to crop images and do light photoshop or gimp work - we have designers and a CSS guy for slicing, but if you can do basic work like drop in images, revise a slogan layered over photoshop, etc. that'll help.
6. Ability to update the help files (on wordpress) and make camtasia or cam studio screencasts of how to basic things, walk a new client through the first-time use of their website, handle help requests, etc.
Is this you? If so, please bid on 4 hours of work - no deliverables, just a paid test.
Thanks!
