Hi recently had a meeting with a client that wanted us to do work for them the problem is we are over a £1000 more expensive than where they say their other contractors are problem is if went down to their prices we would make a loss of over £700+ per job if i went down to their price. my other client currently pays me more for just providing the labour only than the new client wand to pay for me to supply labour material and fabricated pipes
so i need to write a letter to tell them thanks but no thanks as there’s no way we can carry out their work safely and provide extra services they have requested for the prices they are asking for them to be done at.
also one of the people who was at a meeting, has tucked me up before and is out of his depth in this field of work he's a accident waiting to happen he likes cuts corners. but this letter will be going to his contracts manager who i have had dealings with when he worked for my current client he stated in the meeting that he wants our company on board due to our quality of work and technical experience. I have never failed to do any jobs he or my current client has asked Me to do even after 7 othercontractors have had a look atit and said it can't be done.
