Python-React Full-Stack Contract

I manage a fast-growing e-commerce business and I’m ready to add an experienced full-stack engineer to the team on an ongoing remote contract. The work centres on new feature development and optimisation across the entire stack: Python on the backend, React on the frontend. Day to day you’ll design and build REST APIs, craft responsive React components, and architect systems that stay fast and reliable at scale. Because we sell online, smooth integrations with payment gateways (think Stripe, Braintree, etc.) and headless CMS platforms are routine parts of the job, so depth in those areas is important. What I value most is clean, production-quality code, thoughtful pull requests, and clear English communication. We’re fully remote with flexible hours as long as there’s a reasonable overlap with US time for stand-ups and technical discussions. If you bring at least five years of professional software engineering experience, solve problems proactively, and work well without hand-holding, this could become a long-term collaboration. When we start, we’ll set up access to the repo, agree on the first sprint goals, and establish a cadence for code reviews and demo sessions.
