Compile list of online media, newspaper and magazine editors

I need someone to compile a contact list of newspaper and magazine editors of English language media.

Initial interest would be to have list of UK and Ireland publications. In stage two other English speaking countries like USA, Canada, Australia, In stage 3 rest of the world, where English language media is being published besides the local language media.

The info should be gathered from Internet from various sources. Some only have web based contact form, some have general email like editor at [login to view URL], some have specific addresses like [login to view URL] at [login to view URL]

So whoever wins this project, would first need to compile list of publications. Wikipedia would be a good start ( [login to view URL] ) but there are other sites out there that list publications either by region or by topic they write about. As they say, Google is your friend. There are probably some similar lists already out there to help you with this task.

Then the publications should be "investigated" one by one by visiting their website.

Most sensible way of marking down the info would be an XLS table, listing publications under each other with following columns:

* Country

* Publication type (newspaper, magazine, online news site, radio, tv, ...)

* Publication name

* Publication website

* Postal address (if they have one listed)

* Size of the publication (number of issues printed / for website amount of page/views or readers / for radio and TV size of an audience.

* Publication contact web page (Some list all of their employees and contact info on one single "contact us" web page.)

* Name of an editor (if they have one)

* Email of an editor (if they have one)

* Phone number to reach an editor (if they have one)

* Type of publication (car magazine, knitting TV show, fashion, gadgets, etc.)
