I wrote The Business of Cyber Security (2026) — 525 pages on the economics of the cybersecurity industry: markets, valuation, M&A, venture capital, private equity. Live on Amazon. I'm hiring business-trained readers to review it one chapter at a time. Your feedback feeds the second edition and university course materials. I want criticism, not compliments. "Great chapter" is a failed deliverable. Deadline: all 29 chapters reviewed by August 31. THE JOB, PER CHAPTER I send you one chapter (PDF, ~5,000 words, a 30–40 minute read). You send back two things: 1. My one-page review form — eight short answers: The chapter's argument, in 3 sentences of your own The weakest claim + page number A passage you had to read twice + page number The best chart, and why The weakest chart, and why One thing you'd cut One question the chapter should have answered but didn't One claim that contradicts something you were taught in business school (name the course and concept) 2. A 3-minute video (Loom or phone camera) — talk me through your weakest-claim answer. Unscripted, your voice, no reading from notes. PAY — SPEED IS THE PAY SCALE The clock starts when I assign the chapter: Delivered in under 24 hours → $30 Under 48 hours → $20 Under 72 hours → $10 3 days or later → the assignment expires unpaid and no more chapters are assigned Chapters come in batches of 2–3, each on its own clock. One chapter a day at the 24-hour rate = $210/week. Top reviewers get a better-paid follow-on role building course materials. AI POLICY Use any tool for grammar and polish. But I'm paying for YOUR reading — where you got lost, what you don't believe, what you'd cut. If the review reads like a model summary, or the person in the video can't reproduce the argument in the form, the milestone doesn't release. The video exists to verify this. I work in AI professionally. I will know. REQUIREMENTS — all four, or don't bid MBA, MBA student, or completed business degree (finance, economics, management) Native-level written English — reviews should read like equity research Real interest in cybersecurity, tech markets, or investing Available now through August 31 HOW TO APPLY Start your bid with the word GRAVEYARD. Bids without it are deleted unread. Then in 100–150 words, argue against this claim from the book: "Security categories founded in 2003 stayed independent for twenty years before platforms absorbed them; the AI-security class of 2022 is being absorbed in three to four years." I don't want agreement — I want to see how you attack an argument. End with two facts: your degree, and how many chapters per week you can commit. TERMS First chapter is a paid trial at the same rates; continuing is my call. NDA required. Chapters are confidential — no sharing, no distribution. Reviews become my property for future editions. No public or Amazon reviews of the book.

GRAVEYARD Reviewing business-level academic manuscripts requires distinguishing between superficial critique and substantive analysis—the core challenge here. Your claim about absorption timelines underestimates two structural factors: market fragmentation and buyer intent. Security categories founded in 2003 operated in a consolidation-resistant period because acquirers valued independence as proof of market fit and customer traction. The 2022 AI cohort faces different pressure—not acquisition velocity, but margin compression. Platforms absorb them faster not because of category maturity, but because AI security tools are commoditizing faster than traditional security. The timeline reflects infrastructure economics, not inevitability. Vendors could maintain independence longer by pivoting upstream to risk quantification rather than detection, where platform competition is weaker. Degree: MBA, Finance and Economics concentration. Commitment: 3 chapters per week, targeting 24-hour turnarounds. Ready to start immediately. Available through August 31.

Greetings! GRAVEYARD The claim that AI-security companies are being absorbed in three to four years overlooks the structural differences in today's acquisition environment. The 2003-era security categories matured during a period of fragmented point solutions, where platforms had to absorb best-of-breed to build comprehensive suites. AI-security firms, however, are being acquired for talent and data moats, not just feature gaps, and the pace reflects a strategic land grab. The counterargument is that absorption speed doesn't measure strategic value — many AI firms may remain independent because their differentiation lies in proprietary training data and model architecture, which platforms can't easily replicate without alienating existing customers. I hold an MBA and can commit to 5 chapters per week. Thanks, Revival

GRAVEYARD The argument assumes absorption speed correlates directly with category maturity and market timing, but overlooks two structural differences. First, 2003-era security categories (endpoint, network, data) solved discrete problems with high switching costs—buyers had already baked them into infrastructure. AI-security 2022 entrants face fragmented buyer personas still evaluating whether AI mitigates risk or creates new attack surfaces. Platform absorption accelerates when the problem statement stabilizes. Second, 2003 consolidation occurred during PE's ascent and pre-cloud economics; 2022 absorption happens amid cloud-native architectures where platforms inherit both the tool and the technical debt. Faster absorption isn't inevitable—it reflects weaker product-market fit and buyer uncertainty about standalone viability, not platform inevitability. Degree: MBA, Finance & Economics focus. Commitment: 3–4 chapters per week (24-hour turnaround priority).
