Interim Social Media Manager
Initial 6 month contract with a view to extension or possible perm role
Based onsite at Hoddesdon with some flexibility to work from home
Part time/ 22.5 hours per week
Suggested Skills / Experience:
6+ years' experience in a digital / social media-focused role, whether agency or in-house:
Experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry (e.g. healthcare, financial Services) preferred.
Experience in both defining and delivering digital / social media strategy.
An understanding of the role of digital / social media within the wider marketing / comms mix.
Experience in growing and developing a social media function, whether in-house or for a client.
Strong stakeholder & project management skills including at a senior level and cross-functionally.
Manage comprehensive brand-level social media activities with the key purpose to tell stories to help drive brand awareness, engagement, conversion and advocacy.
Experience of planning and executing activity on major social platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Experience in planning, managing and delivering a content strategy (written, visual, video, audio).
Experience of managing a content production process:
Simple design skills a bonus (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
Experience of delivering digital projects.
Experience of website maintenance (CMS).
Strong writing and communications skills.
Experience of developing and running training on digital and social media for various audiences.
Good understanding of the role of paid promotion in social media marketing across all main platforms.
Experience of setting and tracking ROI for digital/ social activity.
Experience of social media management software platforms (Brandwatch, Sysomos, etc.)
Social media strategist.
Serve as a subject matter expert for social media strategy development, planning, and execution.
Support the development and management of social media content for brand teams in collaboration with external agencies.
Establish and oversee operational support to execute in social media channels that align to the brands' objectives.
Advance marketing capabilities in social media by identifying new opportunities, seeking necessary input from key stakeholders, and operationalizing the ideas.
