Hi, I'm a native French speaker with a bilingual level of English (TOEIC certification level C2) I have little experience in transcription (1 project of student interviews) so far but I am very motivated! My rate is 120€ = 140$ for an hour of audio. I will need between 3 and 5 hours to transcript one hour of audio depending on the quality and the exact job wanted. These are the usual set of questions for any transcription project I work on, for each audio/video file 1. How many speakers are there in the conversation? 2. Do they have different English accents? 3. Do you need the timestamp in the transcribed output? 4. Will a word document as output be fine with you? 5. What font name and font size to be used? 6. Is this a urgent project or a normal project? 7. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being lowest audio quality and 10 being highest/excellent audio quality) - Please rate the audio of the file. 8. I have worked on various transcription projects through Northern Arizona University, one notable project included a study in their criminology department, involving young people who did not have the clearest voices. I also worked for the local County government in Coconino County which lasted longer than three years, in which I made the minutes for the County as well as doing transcriptions for the County on an as-needed basis. My experience has mostly been with lectures, fitness expert interviews and focus group interviews. My pay rate is (USD) $1.25/audio minute.
