I'm making a game with a very boxy, low-poly visual style which needs a character that walks around and jumps.
The character style is very low-poly, along the lines of Minecraft or Crossy Road.
The animations, should be the following:
* quick turn 180deg clockwise
The jump should have some basic squash-and-stretch (just in the legs is fine)
Experience with packaging assets to be used in Unity is a bonus, and any advice that makes the model easier to use with Unity in the context of a platformer is welcome.
A little background on myself: I'm an individual who is a software engineer by day, and have worked on one Unity project recently, which was lots of fun. I have an idea for a game, but a full-time job and a young family so I don't have much time to do anything other than the code. I am decent at Blender, but too slow to be able to do this part myself.
The character is the most important part in terms of assets to get a playable proof-of-concept, but it's just the beginning. I'm hoping to find someone that can continue to help with further assets, if we work well. Stuff like more animations (e.g. idle, jump/flip, playable characters, props, etc.)
