since this drops into an edit you are already building, the questions that matter are the boring ones, and getting them wrong costs a re-render rather than a tweak. what i need pinned before animating: your sequence resolution and frame rate, whether you want it delivered with an alpha channel so it can sit over your footage, and whether there is a safe area to respect because something else will overlay it. a clip rendered at the wrong frame rate has to be redone, not adjusted. on the animation itself, for teaching rather than impressing: one idea per shot, and the camera moves only when the move itself explains something. spinning the model because it looks good is the most common way an instructional animation becomes hard to follow. if the viewer needs to compare two states, they should be side by side or cross-faded in place, not shown sequentially and left to remember. labels are where educational 3D usually falls down. text baked into the render at the wrong size is unreadable on a phone and cannot be corrected later. i would rather deliver the animation clean and give you the labels as a separate layer, so you can adjust wording or language in your own edit without coming back to me. send the script or storyboard section this covers, and tell me what the viewer should be able to do afterwards that they could not before. that decides where the detail goes.
