Cool vs Objective is a leading property and casualty insurance software and data analytics providers, as well as making various custom build software for individuals and small to medium companies.
We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
Four full stack developers
You will be working as remote full stack developer mainly focused on react + flask technologies.
You can expect to:
Actively contribute to our growing codebase to implement new features, squash bugs and continue developing products that delight our customers.
Ship code to production while collaborating across disciplines to ensure successful delivery.
Operate full cycle, sharing release and support responsibilities alongside your teammates in addition to writing code.
Provide technical input during planning, design, scoping, estimating and requirements-gathering.
Refine your craft, use your unique experience to inspire those around you, and collectively work towards a better codebase.
What you’ll need:
At least 3 years of work history with hands-on software development experience with heavy focus on JavaScript (ES6, TypeScript), React, flask and HTML and CSS
Comfortable working collaboratively through code reviews, both giving and receiving
Proven ability to translate business problems into code
Proven ability to write modular, well-tested, and maintainable code
Comfortable advocating for improvements including tech debt
Proven ability to be proactive, work independently, manage your time and thrive in a lean environment
Experience configuring webpack, optimizing builds/bundles for speed, architecture and UX
Willingness to work across the full stack (Server side, etc.)
