Seeking Developer to Write Python Parsing Script to Convert PDF files to JSON

We are in need of an advanced Python developer that can write a PDF parsing script to convert structured PDF files into a specified JSON schema. The script will need to be able to retrieve a file from local or cloud-hosted file folders (e.g. local file or storage bucket in GCP). We should be able to apply this script to PDF files with the same structure to efficiently process PDF files consistently at scale.
Requirements
- A Python script (.py) that will convert a structured PDF file (samples to be provided) into a specific JSON format.
- The script will need to be able to accept the following parameters:
- INPUT_FILE_LOCATION - The location of the input file whether it is a local or a hosted file.
- OUTPUT - The output result will need to be in a specified JSON format.
- The script will need to be repeatable to match a structured PDF format. The data will need to be parsed out accurately and consistently across several files.
- There will be an internal user acceptance testing phase with internal data before approving the quality of the deliverable.
You will be provided the following to complete the task:
- A few sample PDF files to use as inputs.
- A sample JSON schema to use for the expected output.
