Job Description:
i like to design a robot based on raspberry pi with a camera
-- the robot will have two simple wheels, to move forward and backward, to turn right and turn left, and the robot has a MCU (prefer to use raspberry pi) and have a camera (prefer to use pi camera)
-- i will place the robot inside a lawn, the robot is allowed to travel only inside the lawn, not to go outside the lawn, the lawn may have a concret border, or other types of borders
-- for the first step i like the robot to be able to travel along the lawn border, the robot must be inside the lawn, not going outside lawn
-- with pi camera, the robot will have a vision to distinguis the grass and non-grass area, such that the robot is able to travel along the lawn border, i think this is the first and the most important step to prevent robot traveling outside the lawn
-- i think the needed skills are python, raspberry, C, C++, open CV (which is called open source computer vision)
-- you must have your own raspberry pi, pi camera, a robot with two motors and two wheels. I am looking for someone who is experienced in openCV (i think this is the most important one), and you must have enthusiasm in robotic design as a professional or hobbyist
-- upon the finish of the project, you must provide a video to show the robot is able to travel along the lawn border, the circuits and connections of wiring, the software code, and the explanation of code, and i will test everything from my end to make sure it will be working
-- this is only a first step, if the first step is successful, the project will be continued with many other add-on sensors
