Write some Python software that that will query JIRA, enrich retrieved issue data with some reference data from a CSV file, and finally export and email CSV file of issue data to nominated email addresses. Software function in more detail: - AWS Lambda runs at a scheduled time each day - Loads client/job reference data file (CSV) from S3 and reads it into a data structure that may be looked up by dual keys of job and client ids (which are in the JIRA issues). - Query JIRA issues matching the query logic as (provided) and using the Python JIRA library. - Generate MYOB import file record in CSV (format provided) by combining JIRA issue data with the loaded job/reference reference data. For each issue that has a successful record generated, transition it to Invoice state. For those where there is a lookup problem of reference data (e.g. no price), the issue is left as-is and is added to a simple error report. - Lambda emails MYOB import CSV file to a nominated email address and the error report to another nominated email address. Expected deliverables - Committed code to my github - README file outlining how to build and install it to lambda - Tested against a JIRA api key and sample CSV reference data file provided, then supplying the sample CSV for verification against supplied specification - Uses of SES to email CSV files to email addresses

Hi I've understand almost all aspects of the project, but I'd like to have a look at the CSV file structure. Also I'd like to point out that AWS Lambda can run for a maximum of 5 minutes, so if your CSV file is large enough then it might be an issue. Since the CSV file will be in S3, so Lambda can be triggered on every putObject event, rather then running it via Cloudwatch Scheduler. I'll be using Python2.7 in Lambda, lemme know if you've any other preference on the programming language part. BTW I'm a super expert in AWS. Ranked #1 in AWS Freelancer Category. There are alot of moving pieces in this project and hence it will take time to complete. I have written python scripts that used xmlrpc and other libraries. I have not used jira's python library yet and will take me a day or two to understand.
