Custom login/authentication in django rest framework

asically, since not every customer will require a login sytem the app will need to be installed apart as package with pip.
Then I need to create a table that will be used as the login/authentication inside this app called web_authentication that will have fields: user_id 1x1 to user, username and password.
I managed to create the table, and display the api and even have a connection with the User table. However I have no clue how do I add authentication like this since the drf authentication is different.
