Custom device driver development

Greetings. I have 10 years professional experience developing firmware for embedded controllers in manufacturing equipment. These controllers were responsible for coordinating the operation of various electromechanical devices, like pneumatic valves, motors, and temperature sensors. I've used microcontrollers, PLCs, ARM-based SBCs, and of course, Desktop PCs. Many projects have employed serial communication for one purpose or another (UART, SPI, I2C, 1-wire). I've also used wireless components (802.11 and Zigbee). These projects were developed using a number of languages, including C, C++, C#, Python, and PLC ladder logic, function block diagrams, etc. On my profile page there is a portfolio containing a sampling of projects showing some of this work.
