I want the step-by-step to setup a docker image that is able to connect to a postgres database using the pydobc library, something around the lines:
conn_str = ("DRIVER=/usr/local/lib/[login to view URL];""DATABASE=mytestdb;""UID=postgres;""PWD=mysecretpassword""SERVER=localhost;""PORT=5432;");
conn = [login to view URL](conn_str)
Currently, I am having the following issue when running the code above.
File "", line 1, in [login to view URL]: ('08001', ' could not connect to server: No such file or directory\n\tIs the server running locally and accepting\n\tconnections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"?\n (101) (SQLDriverConnect)')
This is part of a personal project that I am trying to finish.
With the proposed budget and timeline, will prepare a docker project which uses pyodbc to connect to postgresql db and explain the process step-by-step. Please send me a message so we can discuss your requirements. Tha Plus
