Doing a customized batch image download from Planet API website. I need someone with very good skills at: remote sensing, API, python, GDAL, familiarity with images from Planet API. I want she/he teaches me or show me (I am not a python user, zero experience), how to set /configure/install in my laptop for being able to do a batch download using a set of filters covering cloud cover, type of scene (analytic_SR), and a subset (AOI) to save the download quota from Planet. Then, from then, show how to run batch processing covering: parsing and separating each band, doing simple raster calculation, and exporting the results. I have some useful links to start with, so that you don't need to start from scratch. Completeness off the project is based on the implementation of ALL things below:
1. Successful for:
• batch download Planet images for the subset area (NOT the whole image scene) applied with specific dates and image type and cloud cover criteria. You can refer to [login to view URL]
• parse the downloaded images into their composing bands (each image has 4 bands). I need them to be separated into band1, band2, band3, and band 4 and save them in separate folder
• do simple math calculation for every image: .ie, band1 / band3
• export into tiff file (results of calculation). (Parsing and calculation should be written in a loop for automation, I will have to download many images)
2. Upon the successful of work #1 above, he/she should guide me through a step by step process (through team viewer), and I can give remote control. I use windows 10.
